Since late 2004, Gina has been working with the Gum, Hillier, McCroskey firm to establish what is arguably one of the most professional examples of superior web presence for law firms available. Full of rich content delivered in a concise and organized manner the site embraces the power and flexibility of open-source content management. This new site prepares the firm to deliver vastly increased functionality to clients, and value added service by harnessing the power of internet technologies.
For several years, Judge Pope and the team at NC Legal Marketing have been creating the working format for online trial calendars and court appearances. Early in 2012, Judge Pope convinced us to issue an interim product utilizing tried and tested web technologies. We delivered. Launching in beta in Judge Pope’s courtroom in May 2012, MyVirtualCourt has been approved for distribution to North Carolina Judges by the Administrative Office of the Courts.
Monty brought a unique request to us. He wanted to establish a website specifically for his practice, separate from his firm’s online presence. We launched his new site contemporaneous with the opening of his Asheville office. Monty is a shareholder in the long established firm of Coward, Hicks & Siler, PA, with offices located in Sylva, Cashiers, Franklin and Asheville.
Julie Woodmansee and Barbara Szombatfalvy are family law attorneys in Durham, NC. After sharing office space for several years as solo practitioners, they combined forces and opened Woodmansee & Szombatfalvy, PA, in January of 2012. We launched their web presence in late April. By mid-May, their site had obtained the number one position on Yahoo for certain search criteria.
Rod Kight is a consumer and corporate bankruptcy specialist in Asheville, North Carolina. Kight Law is a certified debt relief agency by the U.S. Congress. Mr. Kight and his staff now have the ability to create blogs, and his firm is learning to habitualize marketing in their day to day practices.
Message Clarity is a full service professional presentation coaching firm owned by NC Legal Marketing’s collaborative service provider, Rick Fornoff. A twenty year Toastmaster’s veteran with a wide variety of clients, he has coached presenters in bringing forth the heart of their message, from venture investment seekers, to corporate leaders and judicial candidates.
Rhonda Moorefield practices family and criminal law in Asheville. Rhonda came to NC Legal Marketing with a desire to update and increase her web presence, and grow her mediation practice. Launched in September 2011, McDowall & Moorefield now features Rhonda’s practice areas and emphasizes the benefits of negotiation and mediated settlement. Rhonda has custom web design and content development with blogging and social media capabilities. Rhonda’s personal branding and social media presence will launch January 2012.
Tony Rollman is an Asheville criminal defense attorney who had previously invested very little in a professional web presence. Launched in August 2011, Mr. Rollman’s site is quickly climbing in search rankings, and has realized a 500% increase in view-ability. For Mr. Rollman, web site content was the single most important factor in creating web presence. NC Legal Marketing developed the layout, design concept, and content for all 47 pages of Mr. Rollman’s site.
Judge Mike Town is a 30 year veteran of Hawaii’s District Court, an internationally recognized therapeutic jurist, and renowned author and lecturer. Judge Town has spent years studying and teaching about therapeutic courts, compassion fatigue, and jurigenic harm. In his retirement, Judge Town is using his extensive history and experience to assist seated jurists in creating therapeutic practices from the bench.
Jack Poisson is a family and criminal law attorney in Asheville. Jack utilizes the holistic modalities of cooperative and collaborative practices in his approach to family law, and therapeutic methodologies in his criminal practice. Poisson Law Firm has created a long term marketing relationship with NC Legal Marketing, ensuring ongoing development of his web presence and personal branding.
In late 2010, Judge Andrea Dray issued her bid for the Unified Family Court seat vacated by Judge Marvin Pope’s elevation to Superior Court. NC Legal Marketing assisted in Judge Dray’s campaign to the local bar for nomination for gubenatorial appointment to fill the vacant district court seat. Judge Dray was appointed by Governor Perdue from the four top vote-getting Buncombe lawyers. She was sworn to the bench in January 2011. NC Legal Marketing was able to assist Judge Dray in making a complete and whole-hearted effort, and ensuring that she was prepared at every point in the process.
Unified Family District Court Judge Marvin Pope announced his bid for election to the Superior Court bench in early 2010. During the nine month campaign effort, Gina assisted Judge Pope’s Campaign as a faciliatator and marketing consultant, designer, and volunteer. Judge Pope won election to the 28th Judicial District’s Superior Court and took office on December 1, 2010. Judge Pope’s Superior Court site launched in February 2012.
Legal Trends is an information resource for judges, lawyers, academicians and law students promoting therapeutic and social justice and new peacemaking concepts in the practice and dispensation of law. Legal Trends is Gina’s pro bono effort in helping to instill a new idealism in the practice of law and to increase satisfaction within the profession. Legal Trends explores therapeutic ideals, and presents information on legal marketing and practice management, professional coaching, lawyer happiness and more humanistic approaches to legal education.
Shannon is a civil litigator and trial attorney. Shannon and Gina Drew served on the Executive Committee on the 28th Judicial District Bar together for several years prior to Shannon forming The Lovins Law Firm in early 2006. We launched Shannon’s web presence soon thereafter.
Joseph C. Knight is a Magistrate in the Small Claims Court of the 28th Judicial District in Asheville. Magistrate Knight originally retained Gina to create his law practice website in 2005. Gina has since worked with him through two bids for gubenatorial appointment to District Court and has consulted with him professionally on many issues. Magistrate Knight is employing a new website offering many tools to small claims litigants in 2012.
Gum, Hillier & McCroskey is a boutique family law and bankruptcy firm in Asheville, North Carolina, made up of three of the most widely respected lawyers in the state. GinaDrew.Com Legal Marketing is marketing agent for the firm and has been since 2004.
Asheville Reporting Service is Asheville’s most widely recognized court reporting service in business for more than a quarter of a century. We’ve developed websites for Asheville Reporting Services since 2003. First launched in 2004, the Asheville Reporting Service website is now in its third version. In 2010, the client’s site was redesigned to recognize expansion of the client’s service area and incorporating a referral and professional networking component, and additional virtual services she offers to the local Asheville legal community.
